PT Cruiser - Gas Tank Neck Flap?
Hello,
I just noticed that the flap/shutter to my gas tank is missing, PT's do have this at the entry point of our gas tanks right? I can't really remember, but anyways, I think this may be causing my gas/air mixture to make my car feel like it is running out of gas during acceleration, my check engine light has been going off and on all month, but now it is permanetly on. Is there a quick and easy replacement I can do my self, some kind of plug I can put there? THX!

And how do you imagine that?
The air/fuel mixture is determined in the intake manifold. It's a closed system. The only point of air intake at that point, is from the intake itself.
Which has absolutely NOTHING to do with whether you have a gas flap or not.
If you want a comparison, imagine that you punctured your arm with a nail or something. And then you say you think you're getting too much air into your lungs.
