Is it okay to give a 4-month old Maltese puppy bones to eat/chew on?
Real or fake, is it okay for my 4-month old Maltese puppy to chew on or eat bones, small or big?
Real and raw is better than fake or processed. Bigger is safer than smaller. See if you can find lamb femur bones or whole beef ribs for Your Dog. Real bones need to stay in an area with a floor that's easy to wipe up.. you do not want them dragged around on the carpet! If you get a HUGE bone (whole beef knuckle, or something), it will stay where you put it because your little puppy won't be able to move it... it would be great fun!
