i would like to volunteer at a pet shelter or something to do with animals any ideas?
i am 13 and looking for a good animal shelter place or whatever to volunteer with animals any ideas?
i live in winnipeg stvital any where near there
When I owned my pet store, we had volunteers come in to help socialize and play with the animals. You had to sit down and watch a few videos to learn about whatever area of the store you would be working. Then the shifts were only 2 hours long. You had to show us a good report card. Have written parents permission. It was a win win situation. You learned about the animals, the animals were loved. We had alot of students ask, and we could only take 2 per afternoon for an 8 week course. If there aren't any in your area, you might suggest it.
I know veterinarians need walkers for the dogs boarding.
