Help with reading my Billy Cook's serial number? Also, how much is it worth?
On the fender it says Genuine Billy Cook saddle, Made is OK. On the latigo it says 301-5.5. I would say it's around twelve years old or younger.
It is in great condition, the fenders are a little dry but I've been oiling it alot lately, so after a few more oilings they should look great. The seat could use being replaced, but it is in good condition. It is flecked with little stains and a bit rubbed, but once your butts in the saddle you can't tell. It has beautiful floral tooling on the leather and silver, and I absolutely love it! xD we got it for $150 because it was moldy and in someone's garage for seven years, but after a few cleanings and very thorough oilings, it looks nearly brand new. How much might it be worth?

Billy Cook saddles have lots of fans for good reason. They are wonderful saddles.
Provided it's a real Billy Cook there are a lot of people that would pay much more for it. I see used Billy Cooks go for $500-$700 easily.
